Behind the wheel lessons for minors consists of 7 periods driving and 7 periods observing another student driving. The duration of each period is 50 minutes. Students must have their permit, the classroom portion of driver's education completed and 45 hours of guided driving practice with parents and/or legal guardian before registering. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS! Our driving school is committed to providing high-quality driving instruction to all students. However, we do not have the specialized facilities, equipment, or training to accommodate students with certain disabilities and/or impairments. We encourage these students to seek specialized driving schools and programs to meet their needs. If you completed the driver education course through school or another driver training school, you will need to provide either a DEC-1 or DTS 36 form. Completion of behind the wheel lessons DOES NOT guarantee that you will receive your driver's license. Students that successfully complete lessons and pass their road test will be issued a temporary driver's license by the instructor. Please note road testing at DMV is not available for students under the age of 18 in Virginia. Please call and leave a message for scheduling and availability.
